KOLE NOTES - FALL 2009

This Summer going into the Fall has been very rewarding...Of the many performances that we've done during these past three months, both concerts and charities, all were great, but a few had special meaning to me...The Club in Birmingham, Alabama is truly one of the finest if not THE finest Private Clubs in the country...I did two nights there performing two shows in between the dance bands sets...I had performed there many years ago and was thrilled to return, and to full houses both nights...We are scheduled to return on February 4th and 5th, 2010, and I can't wait...

A return to the Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown, NY was also a very special evening...I was to perform for 70 General Managers of the finest resort hotels in the country...As I was waiting to go on after their dinner I got to thinking, wow, they've seen everything in show business, will they dig me? Well, my worrying was for nothing...I did seven arrangements in my one hour performance and received five standing ovations...I'm still in the clouds over that one...

Our performances in France at Chateau Figeac, Germany at Restaurant Zur Traube, and an impromptu session at the Radisson Hotel in Spa, Belgium were all well received...It is always great to perform for my many friends and fans in Europe...

Rock Springs, WY is always a treat...This was our 10th year in a row to perform there...This year we did a tribute to Broadway...What a fun medley that turned out to be...The people in Rock Springs are family to us, and we can't wait to return in September, 2010...

There are so many others, like the Arts Festival in our home town of Slidell...We closed the day long activities, and had a wonderful crowd in the Slidell Auditorium...I have played so many charities in our area, but I rarely get a chance to show off the trio doing what we do all over the world...I got so wound up that I played right through the intermission and into the second half of the performance...Lloyd Cambre, Drums and Danny Infante, Bass Guitar were at their best...It was a fun evening to say the least...

On December 4th we'll be performing at the Spencer Theater in Riodoso, NM...This is one of the finest performing theaters that I've ever played in and we can't wait to return to this wonderful venue...If you live within driving distance and would like to see our concert in the Spencer Theater, go online to www.spencertheater.com and order your tickets, and why not spend the night at the Lodge at Sierra Blanca in Ruidoso, NM...That's where we'll be staying so maybe we can enjoy a glass of wine together after the concert...

I think that I've bent your ear enough, so I'd better cut this off and save something for our winter issue of Kole Notes...

Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you have any questions, e-mail me and I'll try to answer them...

You are the greatest, and if it wasn't for you and the many others out there, it sure would be a dull world for Gardner and me...
